Hey, it's Kate! Pull up a chair, we're going to chat about chooks, dooks, and geesies (and other poultry). Today, I would like to start out with some pics :) :love
So, um ya, I'll try to get bi-weekly updates!

Happy Halloween!
Have a good day of the dead!
My flock is good! No new pix, I'll get some when I'm home.

I found a new yummy, taquito recipe.

*Stuffing stuff*
  1. Throw ingredients into (Full recipe here!crockpot salsa chicken filling.) crockpot <– chicken, salsa, Tabasco, taco seasoning, and water
  2. Cook, shred, done.

~Shell~
Choose a corn or flour tortilla.
BOOM!

~*Assembly*~
  1. You’ll take one small tortilla (corn or flour) and fill it with two tablespoons of salsa chicken and one tablespoon of shredded cheese on one end of the tortilla.
  2. Roll the tortilla gently to form the taquito, starting at the filled side.
  3. Use two toothpicks to secure the taquito along the seam.
  4. Bake, air fry, or fry!

*~Air frying~*
4-6 minutes at 400F, then flip halfway through to ensure full frying!

~*~Frying~*~
All you need to do is heat 1 inch of canola oil to 350 degrees F in a deep straight edged sauté pan and fry each taquito for about 3-5 minutes, gently flipping every so often to promote even browning. When you’re done, remove the taquitos from the oil and let them drain for a bit on a paper towel.

*~*Oven Baking*~*
All you need to do is spray them with a little cooking spray, then bake ’em at 400 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes on a silicone mat lined baking sheet! Again, I like removing the toothpicks and flipping them at the halfway point to ensure even cooking.

(Found & Paraprhrased from this website- https://showmetheyummy.com/air-fryer-chicken-taquitos-recipe/ They have amazing recipes!)

Theres a fire going on here :( But my girls are good! I have to check the water every 1/2 hour for ash, to keep them healthy. No eggs, but what can you expect? I'm sippin' on my tea and laying with my mom who hurt her back.
