Hi goosespice. Did you mean to write what you wrote? Maybe it´s just not clear what you wanted to say.....
I wouldn´t recommend anyone or anything to drink peroxide. Diluted ACV is great to drink. And it´s safe.

It should read don't let them ingest the providone scrub just as you would avoid letting them ingest peroxide.

So just a quick update. Amelia's bill seems like it's getting worse. Not like infection wise or anything like that but it looks like it's broken more and there's more under the surface blood. I'm going to have to get a better look at it tomorrow and some newer pics. Is it possible for her bill to break more just because it's broken? Or is she making it worse by other means?

I'd say more could break off especially if she is pecking at ice. new pics would be good, you don't think anyone is messing with it?

Have I ask this before, do you have any vets that could help you on what might be wrong with her bill....? Also what is ACV just in case I would need this for our geese.....?

Hi, ruru...Apple Cider Vinegar. You know what it is, just forgot...I think it´s very useful stuff, along with the niacin.

Ducklover, My guess is that as long as you´re managing to keep it clean and she can eat and drink, it´ll most likely try to renew itself, but very slowly. You know when we break our nails? There´s that awful period when the nail´s half dead and half attached. I´d guess that as she broke it quite close to the tip, that it´ll heal ok, but of course, Ruru´s right, if there´s a vet close-by it´d be good for them to have a good look.

Hi LB thank you honey I did forget. Is it just used as a tonic in the water or to help with infection? Because I know at dialysis they use white vinegar to clean out the machines and then bleach the machines afterwards for bacteria...??? Lb I have never used it before.
