And speaking of poisonous things.....do you not get poisonous spiders and snakes in the States?  I thought you did. It´s probably like here, it depends on where you live, being such a big country.  There´s a growing number of poisonous spiders in England too.  The only poisonous snake there is the adder, or viper, which isn´t too bad. 
Here there are a few poisonous snakes..the rattler, and a couple of others.  People around here let their dogs roam, so they can get killed sometimes by the snakes.  You can still keep the snow, though!    

We do have poisonous snakes and spiders and things like that but not where I live, northern NY. Basically Canada actually. With the cold winters we get the poisonous animals can't survive. Lol I will keep the snow

We in ireland have basic preds (foxes ,otters and on a very rare occasion a golden eagle which grabs chickens and 3 month old geese not older because some of my geese are good fighters against big preds,but we have no poisonous qnimals haha

Oh wait this summer was so hot a false widow spider was populating in ireland brought from warm countries so we do have one poisonous animal
