my geese are LAYING....at this time of the year???

But its in the mid 20's here?
No heat supply in the coop
and she just lays one in the straw in the barrel in the coop and goes out ...
Wont the eggs get cold ?

I have 2 Sebbies that have been laying for a month and I have one thats sitting. The one thats sitting is this years Spring hatch. I don't know what the heck is going on with them.

I just hatched out three White Chinese after three power outages and serious temp drops...I really thought they were all goners but I waited a few days and finally ended up with three goslings...I have 15 eggs on the counter from my White/Brown Chinses crosses...they should be fertile as there has been a lot of whoop dee doo in the kiddie pools, lots of honking, posturing and some testiness amongst the ganders...
