Hello there,

About a month ago my I noticed that my hen had one part of his face a little swollen and his eye a little watery. At first I thought it was a bee sting, but a couple of days passed and it didn't got better. I took him to the vet, he thought it was an abscess, gave me a 10 day treatment to see if it was an abscess. I returned after the days passed, but he found nothing and told me that he seemed ok. I am really sure he's not ok. Can someone please help me? I am really stressed and preoccupied about him.

He eats, sings, runs, stretches and dances normally, but he sometimes sneezes and his breathing always seems a little difficult (the vet said it was because of his big crest). He has no mucus nor strange saliva.

I'm certainly not a vet, but I have had chickens come down with sinus infections that look just like that photo you posted.

A very simple treatment using steroid and antibiotic eye drops clears it right up.

Thank you

Thank you so much for your recommendation!

Seems like the vet is not in her office today, will call again tomorrow though, but I will try that treatment just in case, I know that will not harm him.
