I have 2 broodies one with 5 week old babies and o e with 4 day old. They don't share the babies but my 2 roosters will keep babies with them if mama leaves them behind for a minute. My roosters love babies. Lol

I haven't had roosters with the girls so it will be a new experience for me. I'm trying to NOT get attached, tho.

Wow, I'm not ready for that many! Do they free-range? Our girls favorite spot is to hang out on the porch with us in the afternoons. LOL

Yes. When I am with them. They stay under my feet or in my lap if I am sitting down. They are spoiled rotten. I love spending time out in the yard with them. When Bella laid her first eggs everytime I came around she would stand up and look at her eggs so I would tell her she was a good girl. After her chicks hatched she stands up when I come to check on them so I can see them and tell her how beautiful they are. Probably not really showing me but sure seems like it. All of them love to be talked to.

I can believe that. My MIL couldn't believe how the 2 girls would let me check their eggs and then see the chicks after they hatched. Hers are not that friendly. Mine are spoiled too. But, hey, isn't that the point? LOL
