My hens tongue is through the skin under her beak

Pics
I have got her tongue back in her mouth and her puncture wound under her mouth Is closed and scabbed over currently. I need to just get rid of her infection, I bought some bedatine, how do I use it on the infection because it’s in her mouth? Do I water it down and put it one there with a q-tip? Or no watering it down
Do you mind sharing how you dot the tongue back in? We have the same problem right now. Thanks!

Can you post a picture? It could close on it’s own by scabbing and healing. I am not sure if the skin could be superglued together, but it might be stitched. Sometimes the best thing is to take time, and see how it goes as it is. Try feeding some mash of chicken feed and some water stirred in. How long ago do you notice it? Do you think she cut it on something? Is she eating and drinking?

Thanks for the reply. I will get a pic later. Many months ago she had an infection (we think) that caused a giant mass beneath her beak. Over time it went away but apparently damaged the strength of the skin. We only noticed today that her tongue was sticking out of the hole because she had gotten into our garden (twice). So, she is still eating and has plenty of energy. Given the condition of the tongue (the tip is hardened) it has been this way for a while. And given the hard tip we can't get the tongue back into her throat. So, we're not sure how to proceed.
