Poor girl! I think she can be stitched up pretty well though, it seems like a small puncture wound and thankfully chickens heal super , I'm desperate!!!

Do you mind sharing how you dot the tongue back in? We have the same problem right now. Thanks!I have got her tongue back in her mouth and her puncture wound under her mouth Is closed and scabbed over currently. I need to just get rid of her infection, I bought some bedatine, how do I use it on the infection because it’s in her mouth? Do I water it down and put it one there with a q-tip? Or no watering it down

Can you post a picture? It could close on it’s own by scabbing and healing. I am not sure if the skin could be superglued together, but it might be stitched. Sometimes the best thing is to take time, and see how it goes as it is. Try feeding some mash of chicken feed and some water stirred in. How long ago do you notice it? Do you think she cut it on something? Is she eating and drinking?Do you mind telling me how you got the tongue back in? We have the same problem with a hen.
