Lays eggs. I'm not sure where you are seeing the face screaming cockerel? She is only about 1 year and 2 months. I thought she was a rooster when she started growing up but then she started laying eggs haha
I'm still interested in seeing full body pictures of this bird, I swear I saw pointed hackers on that picture. Plus that face screams cockerel.
On the last post on page one, the OP posts photos of the birds face showing the tongue. I swear I an seeing pointed hackle feathers. It own let me quote the post for some reason, guessing my internet.Lays eggs. I'm not sure where you are seeing the face screaming cockerel?
Rooster hackles look nothing like that. They are really skinny and sharp. First is male hackles, second picture is female hackles. On the last post on page one, the OP posts photos of the birds face showing the tongue. I swear I an seeing pointed hackle feathers. You might be right, I know the difference between hen and cockerel feathers, but I could have swore I saw pointed feather. Zoomed in on the bird in OP's signature though and it does look like a hen.I think it's just a trick of the black & white patterning that makes them look pointed. Some hens can be very confusing that way.
