My hubby hates BBQ, so what to do with these

Just rub a little garlic powder into them and slow smoke them over a charcoal grill with wood chips thrown in. My family loves them this way and we almost never use BBQ sauce any more.
 
I'd marinate them in soy or teriyaki sauce, then brush them with mayo (to keep them juicy) and grill them. No BBQ sauce needed. I do like BBQ sauce, but I don't like ribs, LOL.

I'd put them in my crock pot...you can try something not BBQ-ish...

I use:

Lemon juice (the bottled stuff)
Worchestshire sauce
A little soy sauce (too much will make them too salty)
garlic
liquid smoke
brown sugar
olive oil

Throw it all in the slow cooker & set it on low for 8-9 hours. GOOD stuff...

Put them in a covered roaster in the oven with some sauerkraut and course ground black pepper at 325 degrees. After an hour and half add some potatoes. Slow cook at 325 for another hour.

Very German, Very Good. If he says he doesn't like sauerkraut offer him some BBQ sauce.
