I really like the Jaerhons. They mature super early. Get ready for the boys to crow by 5 weeks and try to mate anything that moves by 10. I guess with a short growing season you have to be an early bloomer.
They're efficient egg producers, a more roundish egg. They fly very well. They're very cold hardy but for a small bird don't seem to like heat much.
If I only had 1 breed I may choose them.
