My leukemia's back.

It is on Butte Street. Looking at the map I see that while her house was safe from the fires being on the SE side of town, the SRMC is on the NW side, right where lots of stuff burned. I didn't hear of any damage to the hospital though.
They stopped the fire just before it reached the City Proper. The Hospital is several miles in so it would have been missed.

Yes Bruce my dad was a surprise too, his mom was 42 when he was born also dad was a change or life child, and his oldest brother caused a shot gun wedding or was a contributing factor, however you view it. So I didn't know dads parents. grandma died at 85 a year and a couple of weeks after I was born a couple thousand miles away. grandpa passed 9 years earlier and he was born 2 years before grandma. I had someone last year tell me EVERYONE knew their grandparents unless they where in jail or estranged. I replied you know these 4 people right? and they are honest right? yes was the reply to both, I simply told them to ask them if I would have known my father's parents, and if that didn't satisfy proving my claim then the cemetery and office was about 2 miles away and we could ask when they were buried, because like the old where did they bury the survivors of a plane crash joke, that should pretty well prove me correct. They just dropped it at that point. Funny how know it all's get mad with overwhelming facts tho.

Had fluorescents for grow lights for many, many years. 5-light stands 3 shelves each with 48" twin lamps on each shelf. Shutting them all down. Plants are no longer sought after, taking too much time away from BYC to care for them. If I ever want to start again have lots of seed stored away but, don't think I will. Been doing this since 2004. Enough!!

I used grow lights in my aquarium during the day, especially in winter, because it helps ensure the fish get enough sunlight. The plants on the bottom of the aquarium stand, did wonderful with the light filtering through the aquarium. They did an experiment here in the schools, and the grow lights improve attitudes, moods, help with depression etc. especially in winter, when days are shorter.

Lights are very important in winter!

The different colors are also important for egg production and Cock bird fertility. There are studies about them with hens and broilers too.

LEDs can come in a lot of colors. The ones I bought for my Mom are a daylight color-- slightly on the yellow side

one is a special gro lux wide spectrum plant tube (some times called aquarium lights)the other just a cool white, in each two lamp fixture.

Or you could just cut back and get LED lights. They use even less electricity than fluorescents.

That is ridiculous. Some people are either too simple minded or narrow minded to see beyond their personal experiences.
