My leukemia's back.

I can do the one on Sundays and the other 2 during the week. It just means gone from 9 am to 6.30 p.m. during the week and Sundays 3-11. My family isn't so sure about me being gone that long for not that much pay- barely above minimum. But at this point something is better than nothing. For right now that is what I think the direction should be. I am not stuck and can change it if something else comes that is better pay or has benefits or is full time.
Just going to put one foot in front of the other right now...
God definitely has been keeping us afloat and just ahead of most things. Honestly wish we were richer but then I go thinking about how much we already have and am grateful (roof overhead, plenty of food, access to healthcare, plenty of clothing and a bed- oh my, after "sleeping" at the hospital on a flip down "chair"! I am so grateful for my bed!).
If anyone hatches out too many female crested cream legbars or Bielefelder chicks, lmk! I will trade you something for them like an insulated waterer or gravity feeder or the newly designed chicken nipples ( are amazing!) that my friend did.

It does sound like a long time to be gone, but looking back, Honey has been going in at 7-8 am and finishing up around 6 pm a lot of the time. Course, he has weekends off.....but, you do what you gotta do, right? And like you said, you're not locked into a forever, ironclad covenant....they're just jobs. If they don't work, you find another one. I know, I was just saying how much I hate looking for a job, but we do need to keep things in perspective. there are always more jobs out there. Sounds like time for the family to step up some with the household?

Wish I were hatching either of those breeds, I'd happily hook you up! But, I seem to be pretty content with my mixes. I'm getting the chance to try some different sex link crosses this year, I'm excited about that.

Lol, just got my butt out of the kitchen after making yummy chicken carcass soup for dinner! For the first time ever my family will be eating spaghetti squash and it's in the soup!

No way to pick that out of the soup!

I love spaghetti squash! Great with a bit of butter, salt & pepper.

You're right Hbh, no one will be able to pick that out of your soup, lol.

Thanks! It's hidden along with the long grain wild rice, quinio (sp?) and chicken bits. Can even really tell but it adds nutrients!

LOL - sounds delicious -- but, as a life long EXTREMELY picky eater, I would have to say "challenge accepted" in finding and removing even this, lol, I have years of experience (though in this case I think I'd have to give it a try first....because it sounds so good)

Hey, Phil, sorry about the crappy internet - that makes for some very frustrating times, I know.  Glad you managed to get through this morning.

I remember seeing a post on FB or somewhere about....when you think you're falling in love with someone, give them a slow computer or internet connection before you commit to them....then you'll see the real person you're falling for :gig   something like that....I know issues with the tech brings out the bad side of me, and I'm not sure why. Just so frustrating and I don't know how to fix it, I guess.

I sure thought that goat was looking like she wanted to have babies last night, but nothing....her udder is getting pretty big, though. I"m hoping for twins, that will be enough.

Well that router from Verizon came today and it works great.... No more limited data..... Cheaper. We even watched a movie on demand.... Hope this is the answer to our internet problems once and for all
