Baby calf is doing great. No pics, sorry. Forgot my phone when I went out each time. He's adorable, just take my word for it. He gets confused about who momma is and tries to head butt his sister, and she's having none if it! Then he tosses his head and bucks off for a few hops, almost falls over, then finds momma. Oh my goodness, this is a great antidote for not buying chicks yet.

3/3! 38 years ago, I was hanging my head out the living room window, watching the water dripping off the eaves, trying to avoid the heat from the wood fire, and the smell of the tuna fish sandwiches that hubby was making for himself and my doctor. I was pacing the floor, in advanced labor, waiting for our son to make his debut! I remember that day like it was yesterday. The melting snow, the birds singing, and the overwhelming stink of tuna fish. Happy birthday to my DS!!!

Love, love, love baby animals - so much fun to watch them figuring everything out, and they just seem to find joy in every little thing.

Oh my, your son and mine share a birthday! Just spent today celebrating - though only 16th for mine. Hope your DS had a very happy day today!
