Our almost 7-week-olds wouldn't stop escaping the brooder, so out to the coop they go! Loving the run so far... just waiting for the cries when they get locked in the hen house tonight!

Big brother Yoshi doesn't like the girls getting all the attention... he also wants to know why they squeak like toys!

These girls keep getting bigger! Still peeping, but I think they are starting to figure out their pecking order because they play fight every morning. This week, they got fresh sand in their dust bathing area, were face to face with a hawk (yay enclosed run!), and make adorable bawk sounds when we pick them up. They go into the coop on their own in the evening, and have started using the roosting bars.

So we've had our girls (hopefully all are girls) since 03/28/21, and we believe they were somewhere around 5 days old when we got them. Based on their development they seem to be almost 4 weeks old now. They had a field trip outside and we finally got some better photos! I'll do individual intros in the comments.
