The rotating blades of the tiller should scare the ducks away, but it doesn't. I operate the tiller only when they're away, or if there is a fence between me and the ducks. I don't like tilled duck! Maybe it is because my tiller is electric?
tilled duck might be up there with lawnmower baby rabbits. DH was done mowing for the day after that.

@Mimi13 Sorry for being a little inattentive to the latest posts here, i have to deal with two customer's at the same time and since Monday i have a broody duck here too:

No worries. I’ve got several videos to post but haven’t had the time. I’m back to keeping my grandson again full time now that his mother has gone back to work. (She owns a salon and the state of GA opened them last week). I generally fix supper for all of us (husband, son, DIL, grandson) and I’m bushed by the time they all leave. Tomorrow is my ‘off day’ so hopefully I’ll get caught up. :lau

I was afraid to open this last night because I had already laid down and was afraid I’d wake DH by laughing. And........I’m glad I waited, as I burst out when the goose went into the car. :lau

The poor old dude, who I initially thought was gonna run over the girl, instantly fell down as soon as he got back out of the car when the goose flew in. :gig:gig

I have never been chased by an angry goose, but have heard horror stories told by my mother and aunt of being chased by a goose and an old goat. This all happened back in the 40’s. (For the youngsters on here, I’m not talking about 20 years in the future, I’m talking about the 1940’s!) 🤣

Our yearly Canadian geese visitors are here with their four little goslings. They nest in the woods and bring them out at I guess 1 week old or so. I have wanted so badly to walk down into the pasture to see how close I could get, but am afraid...not of being hurt by them, but being hurt by falling down and being humiliated as there’s no telling how many people would witness this hilarity as they drove by. I live right on a US Hwy that is busily traveled, (in Alabama standards anyway.) I’m not the most athletic in my recent years. 🤷🏼‍♀️
