My Muscovies are trying to pip - Pictures

The last one we did chases Mike all over the yard and has become dangerous.

That's not good. When ours got so hormonal we really had to lay the law down to him, now that he is 21/2 yrs he has mellowed real nice towards us, He is the dominant drake here too.

I'm so worried that my beloved P-Dawg (imprinted peacock) will do the same now that he's three... I'll be devastated, lol.

Worried that he will mellow? our boy still loves to come in and visit and he'll go for a walk with us, he does get a bit carried away sometime biting my dh's shoes or pants leg.

Mellow? No way! The other male that I sort of imprinted is the meanest animal here during breeding season. He flogs anything that gets close to his area. Worried that P-Dawg will do the same.

He may. They can get out of hand when those hormones kick in.
 
We have two stud horses, so we do know about hormones, but it's different with birds for some reason.
