My Muscovies are trying to pip - Pictures

It's round 2 for Muscovy eggs... Had a hen abandon her nest yesterday, soI waited until dark and of course the eggs were cold and now they're in the incubator. There are 13, but one looks like it has a blood ring, so I'll check it again today just to be sure, then I'll do an "eggtopsy". The other 12 look all look good and were moving once they warmed up. I'm not positive, but I think they're due around the 1st of March.

There are duck eggs everywhere I look these days... should probably figure out a way to collect them and sell some. As for the weather, we are finally seeing some rain here.

I don't recall the hills being brown in February, so yes, good to have the rain, but I sure do *hate* the mud, lol.

Well we have mud to so you might as well join the mudville group. Snowing here which always makes for more mud.

This was my problem last week that I will share, my muscovy duck eggs started moving and shaking but not peeping , they took a week to hatch and one didn't even hacth on the right side, but there good now and some are still hatching even though it took a week
