My neighbor kidnapped and abused my chickens-seriously

Quote:
Interestingly, the email discussion stopped almost immediately. All negative comments about my birds ceased immediately. And lots of folks in the neighborhood have come to visit my birds and tell me how great it is to have them - and ME - in the community.

Sometimes you just need to smack people FIRST, before they get encouraged to do real damage by your good manners.

I hate that it's this way - but experience has taught me this is how it is.

FemmeJolie - It may be time to consider not being nice person anymore.

I'm just saying.

I gotcha.

So sorry this happened to you...

I have a child and recue animals, I take abuse very seriously. I wish it didn't happen, I keeping thinking about what they must have felt like. There's 3 foot wall in front of his house, with 2 feet of snow on top, he stood there and throw them into the street, they went flying about 20 feet, and chickens don't fly.

Thank You. I plan on doing as much as I can in the morning. I want a restraing order. Quick note-when we bought the house, it turned out he was encrotched 200 feet by 7 feet on my property-this started the whole thing, we left it alone, he kept ripping out my markers that I paid 2000.00 for, we moved the fence over. He couldn't handle it.

This right here explains it in a nut shell folk's why there is a problem between these neighbors. All I will say is good luck with this
you may need a meditator an a land judge to settle this plus a 8ft tall Privacy fence none see thru kind. It dont matter thaat he skins his deer or not what does matter is how he treats everyone an his animals. Chickens do Fly this is Fact unless you've clipped one side of there wing's feather's off an why Winds blowing from the storm they very LIKELY got Blown onto his property since from what I gather they where running loose at the time this storm came in. Best thing to do is just get a meditator an get together an settle this amincally an TRY to make friends instead of emenies out of your neighbors specially with you being a newcomer to the area.

Good Luck from an Old timer with Newcomer neighbors.

Yeesh! If you want a long thread to your credit, on this website, it has to be an episode of "As the Chicken Coop Turns." Otherwise, it gets ignored, and disappears, after 2 pages, at best.
