Wow! It looks great! It took my dad, an experienced carpenter, 3 weeks because he kept putting it off! IMPRESSIVE!!!

Are you going to use insulation? I didn't see where you were from...

I need a nice big coop but my poor hubs is intimidated me thinks.

LOL I'm intimidated too! I've never done such a thing before and it's only through great advice from lots of people that I've been able to be as successful as I have been.

I don't think I'm going to insulate it. My current coop isn't insulated and with 14 hours of light, my hens lay right through the winter. I do have the option to do that later if I decide to though. The roof will have 3/4 inch foam board as a moisture barrier and insulation.

Great coop, Buster. I made some minor errors in measuring too. But trim covers alot of boo-boos

I figured someone would say something about that. I actually jacked the middle up and took most of the bow out. Lessons learned.....

lol i get ticked every time i look out the window and see the bow in my coops frame ... its in the same spot as yours .. after this snow stops i am going tryand get it out

btw what size is the coop
