So jealous!!! They are my favourite breed of pigeon and I can't get them in my country!!!
Really? That's cool. I only recently heard of them and it was a little tricky to find some. It's nice that they can feed their own babies, unlike most owls. What breeds do you have in your country and how do they like the climate, (Idaho's pretty dry) from what I've heard yours is pretty wet (just what I've heard.)

Over here in Thailand people don't seem to be interested in keeping pigeons at all, which I found strange, as many countries in Asia are pigeon crazy!

I have only found the following breeds here:

Fantails
Racing pigeons
King pigeons
Old Dutch Capuchines
Jacobins

So you can see not many options here. I keep which racing pigeons.

Weather is HOT HOT HOT here, but the birds don't seem to mind. I rarely see them panting or acting too hot. In the rainy season we have lots of heavy rain. Then the dry season is great as no rain, but can get super hot and dusty towards the end of it.

Thanks for taking an interest. I hope your birds will breed well and you get lots of young off them. You might even get some different colours popping up once the youngsters start to breed amongst themselves.
