Do you own a buffer like the one in the first pic?

I don't own a buffer, but my parents do. I think I can easily commandeer it for this. After all, one of the turkeys we have will be eaten for Thanksgiving dinner at their place.

I snuck back in yesterday after a week of working out of town and a day of hunting chickens in the desert (sage grouse). I have to leave again this morning but will be back this weekend. Thanks for the welcome home!

Great lil plucker, ive got the metal type one and paid about $300 for it through stomberg..Of course i didnt have to built it, but those bungies worked out great for the picker fingers.....

Nice job PPC with that unit...

bless your hearts. I just cannot fathom plucking a chicken instead of buying one at the grocery store for 4 bucks. this video really makes me appreciate those that prepare my food!! thank God I dont have to do that to feed my family. it would be strictly scrambled eggs for us!! And its funny, i thought the same thing, how awkward to have the other chickens standing there the whole time....
I dont have a problem with eating my flock, I just couldnt do the process to get it to the dinner table. yuck!
and then add to it the possibility that after i chop off its head its going to run back to the coop....or live for a few months looking at me with his invisible eyes, waiting for its food every morning....
