My red sex links first egg!

My red sex link chicken Kurt just layed her first egg ever! I'm so proud of her & my other chicken Dylan is kinda maturing slowly but she's next but I'm curious if the eggs are fine or if she's missing some nutrients or anything the egg is brown with white speckled everywhere it's small but I know they get bigger as they lay more so please just let me know if it's a good egg or if I have to do something else I give them regular food & layer feed & treats every once in a while

Congratulations!!! I have red sex link too and they are great layers. Other than a little skimpy on the paint job that egg should be fine.

looks like a decent size egg to me. A few of mine had that same crazy pigmentation when first laying.

Congrats!!! First eggs are so wonderful! Yes, those white spots are normal for a first timer. Tell Kurt that I said she did a great job! And tell Dylan she's next

I don't really know if they are mine or i am theirs. I seem to do all of the work and all they have to do is dig up my yard and lay me eggs. My wife added the picture and she has a name for all of them. I just call them chickens, but we have a cat we've had for years and I call her Cat.
