I was so stunned! I was getting something outside (the sky was just starting to get dark) and first thought I heard one of my kids yelling. Then I realized that I was alone in the yard with my chickens. I walked over to the coop and looked in and Steve crowed about 3 more times with me standing right there. It was a funny little tarazan yell-type crow, but a crow non the less. I was a little bummed that it wasn't louder (I have an annoying neighbor with dogs that bark, whine, call, howl ALL.THE.TIME)
I wasn't expecting any crowing this early. He's only about 3 months old (about 12 weeks) and I wasn't expecting anything until 4 months at the earliest. No crowing today though. Maybe I lucked out and have a mild mannered gentleman to take care of my girls?
