My She is a He!! Barred Rocks please help

I believe I have a Barred Rock rooster which is such a bummer because I love him so much!! He's the most gorgeous friendliest one out of all of my chickies. But at 7 weeks he has the very bright distinct bars and a prominent comb that's beginning to pink up. I live within town limits and roosters are not allowed. So I am in a pickle with what to do with him. I'm new to BYC so I apologize if I'm writing this in the wrong place lol I'll figure it out eventually. Any ideas for my gorgeous roo???

What sort of "ideas" are you seeking - confirmation of gender, options for keeping him but trying to suppress his crowing, options for not keeping him........?

I would LOVE to keep him, I have looked into those no crow collars but I don't know if he would appreciate that very much. I do know from looking at the pics everyone has posted on sexing barred rocks that he is definitely a boy. What are the options for suppressing the crowing? And is that fair to the bird?
