Ooh, swans! Be careful around them. They have the temperament of a bear with a stick up it's -- well, you know. From what I've heard, at least. Elegant, but nasty.
And your flock is so cute! Ducks always look like they're smiling at you.

Yes I was thinking they probably aren't as friendly as they look! Everything else in this country wants to kill me so why not the pretty swans too . I plan to treat them as emus, observe from afar

Had enough many years ago when a Canadian Goose came after me, head low, hissing and wings ready to beat me to mush. I whacked him with a big stick a few times and it just bounced right off of him.

Birds can be truly terrifying. Some of them are just so... big! And chickens get spurs... thankfully, I've never been on the receiving end of those.

No bears here. But they sound like giant mumma dingoes. Yeah no intention to approach them. Theres plenty of safe hidey holes around the creek to admire the birds. I think I will finally tick bird watching offmy bucket list this year

We made it into the new place safe and well. Biscuits has never travelled so well as he did with his ducks
