well the water level has actually gone up instead of down here, I can't make it to my pump house now without the water coming about an inch over the top of my boots...I need to go get Hip waders lol it's over a foot at the pump house and about 7inches under the house....but it stopped raining...BUT on the radar it looks like we might get another 2 inches of rain

Hubby made it home safe, but he'll probably end up going back out because he's a volunteer fire fighter and also a part of emergency managment

You have a stilt house, too! Everyone thinks it's so odd, because they are very uncommon in Kansas. It doesn't flood up on my hill, but the people who built it were from Louisiana.
I'm so sorry about all of your flooding. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the sun comes out and the rain goes away.
