Mystery chick- joint effort!

Sorry Natalie, I've gotta keep her, she's my favorite! And yes, she has 5 toes! I didn't even notice it before. I've never seen 5 toes before, so I don't know how they are supposed to look. She has 4 regular size toes and one smaller one beside the back toe, on the inside. Is that right?

Salmon Faverolle

OK, we have pretty much narrowed down the Favorelle/Ameraucana as the dad. Any ideas on the mom, so Natalie can get one of her own? Cause she can't have mine!!!!

I think the mom was a cinnamin queen.
I am not sure about the dad though

Grace, Maybe you should go back and edit your first post to say that we've narrowed that dad down and just to take guesses on the mom?? LOL

I don't know much about how traits are passed via mother/father and who gets what gene but I do know that the 5-toed gene comes from Dorkings. Faverolles, houdans, sultans, and non-bearded silkie bantams also have 5 toes but I believe they all came after the Dorking, historically. Its hard to tell with all the fluff if there is any kind of top-knot on its head. I've never seen a Faverolle in white. Dorkings are mostly white. Silkies are white but not sure on solid colors with the Houdans or Sultans.

Don't know if this helped or not but I'm curious to see what you come up with.

Well, the little girl in question is here with me right now, on my desk, sitting on the keyboard. She has read every post in this thread, and we have discussed the outcome. Turns out she is a pretty smart chick- She said that it doesn't really matter what she is, she knows that I love her best, and that's all that matters. So, I guess we'll just wait to see what she looks like when she grows up, maybe it will be easier in a few months. I'll be back when she starts to feather out, and perhaps you can all try again, with better luck. Thanks everyone for your help!
