Mystery Rooster - Guesses Welcome!

This boy hatched from my washed and refrigerated eggs incubation experiment last spring. He's the only one of the 19 chicks that had this coloring - the others were clearly part Easter Egger (muffs and beards, hens lay blue/pink/green eggs), mostly reddish coloring (a few buff and a couple white), and almost all were from green eggs (just a couple of brown eggs hatched).

I'm guessing he's also part Easter Egger. Any thoughts about other breeds that may have contributed to his look?

Well, I suppose the best way to narrow it down, is to ask if you know what breeds the eggs came from? Know what breed the rooster was that was with the hens? What breeds the hens who laid the eggs were? If not, then I can't help but say he looks so much like a Brahma, except there is no feather feet so... Probably wasn't a brahma, since I believe some feathers would have made it onto him if he was partially Brahma. Otherwise, no clue! By the way, is that a Pea comb? Just making sure!

Thanks very much! My understanding is that the possible breeds in the flock that provided the eggs includes Easter Egger, ISA brown, New Hampshire, and Buff Orpington, but there must be other breeds in there, too.

He has a comb that looks, at least to me, like a hybrid comb: not exactly pea, not exactly cushion, but maybe a little like both. I like his comb - less risk of frostbite damage.

The back half has characteristics similar to a Welsummer. Color in your picture looks a bit different, though.

Well, with that comb, and the coloring, I'm going to guess EE and a Wyandotte of some sort.

This dude (and a few others) live nearby View attachment 1996017 View attachment 1996018 in my neighborhood, and I see them every day on my way to work and finally got a picture! I know some people on here really know their stuff when it comes to chicken breeds and colors so if anyone knows what his deal is, let me know!

Rats, the pics in the thread won't open. I can live with knowing just that he's part EE, but there seem to be other clues to his genetic makeup that are present, but that I can't seem to match to a breed or breed(s).
