Whadya reckon, boy or girl out of these two?

5 weeks old and cute as buttons!

I think potentially the dark one is a pullet, and the white frizzle is a cockerel, based mainly on thickness of legs, size and shape. But I am just not sure. Both sometimes have redder necks if they are warm, going to pale pink if they are cooler.

I'll update in a week or two in case there are any changes in appearance.

The frizzle one I'm rather suspicious isn't a purebred Transylvanian Naked Neck, although it was sold to me as an egg as purebred.

The crest for a start! Plus the comb looks like a combo of single and V. Makes me think there is a bit of Polish in there somewhere (or perhaps Silkie?).

I would guess polish would be the most possible crossing, if she had Silkie in her I would think there would be 5 toes, blacker skin, and blue is ear lobs.

Yes you are probably right, and silkies have silkied feathers not frizzled. It just looks like a smallish crest which is silkie-sized. I've bred silkie crosses and they sometimes came out with pink skin, clean 4 toed feet and not blue ears, funnily enough!

I'm still guessing on this little one, and might try and get more info from the breeder.
