The only issue I have with NNs is the larger combs on the cocks. I'm taking steps to have a totally pea-combed flock...should take about three or four years to complete the change. I could do it more quickly but I'm not willing to sacrifice some of my better NNs because of the combs...I'll just breed it out of their offspring.

We have such cold winters,here in northern Pennsylvania combs freezing off,impressive to see a mature cock

we also got -20°C a couple of years ago, blondes use to stay on the trees, and someone got frostbites and don't cares at all
