Now for another color question @Kev
I have this pullet, I know that her sire was my Blue Jersey Giant I had. As for mama I believe was the Golden Laced hen ( she wasn't exactly laced as in Wyandottes) but the best description I can give. She was the only hen in the run that has any kind of patterning to her.

The under color is blue. I sure is done form of red, I've been saying Mahogany but I don't really think it's dark enough to be mahogany. It isn't really a true red either. She dies have some patterning to her ( not sure if it can be seen in the photo).
Jersey Giant sire? Hmm... They are supposed to be 100% pure for black. Pure black bred to a colored chicken always give black chicks growing up either almost solid black or with leakage- like Snape. Either the JG was not 100%pure or her sire is a different rooster?
She does look to have Mahogany due to the slightly darker color... but the problem is I don't know her chick down.. she could be partridge(naturally dark all by itself) with Co(which lightens them up some) or a wheaten crossed with a different color. I'm guessing your gold lace hen is partridge so she probably is partridge with Co.. no real name for it, the closest would be blacktail red maybe.
