Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Fibromelanotic- black skin like on a silkie, cemani.   the updated pic doesn't look like it's present though..

btw it's a sex linked cross- if you see a white spot on top of head it's a cockerel..

mind, the blue color can really dilute any signs of barring. cute chick btw.

Oh, ok. The skin has turned pinkish now that it has dryed a bit more.

I had 11 hatch ( 10 from desertchic and 1 from my flock) they are all so precious!
All the chicks from desert chick are naked necks!

I never got any Lavender eggs to hatch. I did however just order some Lavender Ameraucana hatching eggs. But i still havent found any black naked necks.

That's a bummer. Well, Heisenberg has produced some mostly black NNs for me, so that one dark chick in your group still may turn out to be mostly black, and Bellatrix is still here when you're ready for her. I've yet to see anything other than black in her feathering.

I still have to build my coop. I havent had time lately because ive been at school all day. When it is ready, ill gladly take her.
