There are several of us who have fm in our flocks. there are several breeds that can be used to bring it in. In my case silkie was used many, many generations back and not by me, but by the person who I got my original NN eggs from. I've actually been calling her a smooth SG. I got her from a friend, can't remember who the dad was, but mom was a silkie.
