great names!Have you ever thought to carve some faces in your “Mount Poopmore” ? Maybe faces of the royal family, or other Canadian leaders?
We were dumb enough to carve up a sacred mountain!![]()
Havin' 9 of them over the yrs has been all the "proof" 'nough fer me!
Ok, @BY Bob . New challenge, easier. Find the animal, and then guess what it is.

Or would they moult twice a year and bounce between white and quail?Grouse (Ptarmigan) as far as I know have never been domesticated or bred for meat purposes. They seem rather quiet and docile in the wild and rely upon standing still to evade predation - no match for automobiles unfortunately!
As for crossing with chickens I would have to say no, even if a male where to breed a female I would say that the cross would likely not produce any viable eggs, or the offspring would be sterile like a zebra x horse (or horse x donkey).
But if it were possible I bet they would look something like Henny Penny!

Hi everyone!
I'm sorry that I haven't been here in a really long time, but I've been really busy. I attempted a hatch around Christmas, but my old incubator failed about halfway through and I don't have a backup so all the eggs died.
Now I'm looking for another incubator, new or used. Does anyone know where to get good incubators? I'm also thinking about getting a backup since the failed hatch.
