Yes it is, especially since I plan on getting a NN roo, so that I can get NN babies from my hens!! I wonder what a NN/BCM cross would look like...

No it's not. Naked Necks are exposed to the Light, none of that suspicious, shady business of covering themselves up!

Expect the crosses to be colored about the same as BC, with some variations on how much 'copper' coloring there is. Some may get white or cream color instead of copper, depending on genetics of the NN used in cross. The "BC" color/pattern is basically dominant over many colors.

Where would the NN be coming from and you know we expect piccys......

It would be coming from a local feedstore, and it would be a frizzled NN, so a frizzled, naked-necked, black-copper, chicken...

I will post pics, of course. When I get them.

My Blondie.....certainly not lurking on 'the dark side'.....they are the ones either side of him.......is turning from Blondie to Mottley.

Is he turning into a 'splash'? He is eight and a half weeks old.

This is my little Arianne (or Arian) trying his best to be mauve.

His 'mum' is only pretending to be a Naked Neck....she is a moulting Gold Brahma. She is only pretending to be a mum, too as her chicks both died in the shell and I passed one sideways from her friend who had just hatched 3 chicks......broad daylight....just placed the chick in front of her...instant adoption.

The other 'mum'.....huge Mrs Grey

Still sporting her poultry saddle.
