Naked Neck/Turken Thread

This is my rooster. Not yet six months old. I heard a partial crow the other day but other than that he’s a man of few words.

Oh he really looks like my boy, apart from different colored legs

Also does anyone know if naked necks have dominant white or recessive? Or could it be both possible because of hatcheries?

Rats, okay. I won't know on my little gal until her eggs hatch them. I wanted to breed her to my new male so any boys that hatch had leakage, but I worry dominant white would block that
I had a white roo that always gave me white chicks although a few had some black spots. Didn’t matter which girls eggs I hatched, all the kids were white.

yesterday a cat was sitting in the run when my EE hen jumped in front of her, grabbed a mouseand ran away followed by the other chickens :lau

the cat didn't move, shame on her!

anyone around?

one of my black NN's has fowl pox. she looks horrible, poor thing. her neck is covered with black spots. luckily it is not bothering her too much.
