Naked Neck/Turken Thread

OK, so I home from FL. I haven't seen my chicks since they were 3 days old. They are 10 days old now. Out of the 4 NNs, only 1 is frizzled. The frizzled one is the one I called BB (for Bare Bottom). One more non-naked necked one is frizzled. It is the little blue chick. The other 4 are regular feathered. Here are some photos.

Non-NN frizzle chick.

BB. My frizzled splash NN without feathers on her butt, stomach and only a mohawk down her back.

This one looks blue with some cream colored feathers. Non frizzled. Sorry about the little poopy.

First to hatch....Non NN. Not frizzled. I pegged this one a male from day one. If this one isn't a male, I will eat my shoe!

So, I ended up with 3 Splash NNs (1 is frizzled), 1 blue NN, one splash non-NN and one blue non-NN frizzle. I also have one Wyandotte.

So, now, I am waiting to see which are males and which are females! In your experience with baby chicks, do females grow out their tail feathers faster? I have some who already have tails and others none. Just wondering if there are little things like that that can tell you early.
