Gorgeous little guy! That is funny about you how he bonded with another rooster. My white showgirl rooster and a white silkie rooster are bonded like that as well. They even raised a chick together. I must say their baby turned out to be the most well adjusted chicken I have. LOL The two roos are still best buddies and they will be 2 years old soon.My only naked neck-type chicken, a bowtied showgirl who recently has revealed himself to be a cockerel. He has some funky fused 4/5 toes so I most likely will never breed him with my nice white silkie girls. I'll still keep him though, he's a character.
For the longest time I thought it might be a pullet because of the way it bonded so much with one of my young cockerels. It slept underneath his wing for weeks. But then the streamers popped out, and I stopped fooling myself. Oh well, I still love the oddball. One person who visited asked me if I shaved his neck! Here he was as a chick, and a pic of him snuggled underneath his surrogate cockerel "mother" (he's on the left, you can see his little dark eye, along with an itty-bitty white button quail who also thought the sweet silkie cockerel was its mother!)
