I got a pair of unanticipated NNs from my NYD hatch! Turns out the day the meat roosters got in to the laying flock they had more fun in a shorter amount of time than I expected LOL!

They really are two separate chicks LOL! They are almost identical in size, shape, and the white markings on their wings.
The "real feel" outside right now (7pm) is -18. Brrr. The majority of mine are tiny bantams, though, or silkies, frizzles, young NNs who hate the cold, etc etc. The hardier ones stayed out with the ducks under a heat lamp and a good couple layers of thick plastic wrapped around the coop.
