Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Anyone expecting some Naked Necks chicks order in the spring? I am expecting 10 NN's for April hoping the breeder can fill the order but he has a small flock and could add some RIR if he can't fill whole order of 10 I don't blame the breeder cause it is what it is. I really want atleast 5-6 girls or better outa 10 cause I need more NN girls. Also getting 10 more Australorps chicks cause they are huge from that breeder and my dad and I love big chickens and for something new I'm getting 5 Black Ameraucanas my mom has been begging me to get them cause of there egg color.

Trying real hard not to let my flock numbers increase.. yet occasionally day dream of ordering new NN...

I do plan on setting a couple batches of eggs from my birds. How many eggs/batches are up to the birds as I don't have an incubator though.

p.s. my sister's best friend is pure Greek. Speaks fluent Greek too..

Just wanted to show a few pics of my f1 polish X naked necks.The 2 pullets are in with a white crested cuckoo polish and after I get some from them they will be put under a khaki polish male.The f1 male will be put over a khaki polish hen.

Glad to seee you are making progress on this project and getting ready to unleash the F2's such a fascinating project cant believe more of this is not going on.
