20 and 1/2 weeks old. Got my first egg from these pullets today. These are the earliest laying ones I've ever had.

Congratulations! I got my first pullet eggs from my last hatch exactly 4 months to the day from date of hatch. Let's hear it for our girls!!
:thumbsup

Mine are sitting on 4 1/2 months. It seems like mine are getting to Kay a little earlier each time I hatch.

congrats @draye !

my choco laid her first egg at 17 weeks. all the others started later.

my cannibals ignore blue cote. I have the pullet outside the run till she gets better.

btw, no rain on the island. it is a bit fresh this morning, maybe it rained near. all chickens survived so far. me too.

I didn't know that weather is that bad down there. We get some rain almost every day now. Hope it will get better for you.

glad you are back! did you have a nice holiday?

it didn't rain last winter either. looks like africa here.

It looks downright tropical around here. We got more than double our average rainfall for monsoon season, and they still insist we're in a major drought. I just don't get it. The mosquitoes and flies are horrible. This is a fly trap, filled after just 4 days:

I agree! Where did you get that trap? I have tried 2 different ones, but neither work!
