AS you all know i can never get all the money i have put into these birds

But i have enjoyed every minute i spent with them. Im not even keeping 1 baby chick. So i guess i can sell poultry supplies if u need some. But most of them will end up at the auction block

I think this is the case with any hatchery bird, be it a naked neck or any other hatchery breed. I'm pretty sure we still have actual pure naked necks just as sure as we have any other pure breed in the US. Saying naked necks are only pure breed if they are 'Transylvanian' is like saying Langshans are only pure if they are labeled 'Croads' which is actually all we have in the US in actuality...
IMHO of course, I have no scientific proof...

for us it is easy to know the difference between just a NN and a transylvanian: just a NN chick costs 2-3 EUR and a transylvanian chick costs 9-15 EUR.

I managed to get her to hold still. Look at those cheek tuffs! I am starting to think she is just a Franken chicken. Oh and in the second picture I believe I see a 5th toe so that kinda helps.

She's gorgeous! This is just a shot in the dark, but with that fifth toe and fluffy cheeks, maybe she's a NN/Salmon Faverolle cross?

Thank you! I don't know if it helps but she came from a large white egg. With the black skin....a silkie, NN, salmon faverolle? What a bizarre bird

I have a naked neck with black skin and partridge like feathers with feathered feet. What could she be? I can't seem to find any that look like her and because she is such a clown I can't seem to get a good picture...she is behind her hatch sister..
