ok not the best photo shoot but here are 2 of my latest hatch, had one more black with white spot Nn just hatch, probably both roosters but that's ok

I got my trio because they were so ugly they were cute as wee chicks. I really like mine there is something sort of regal and silly about them at the same time. I have no idea how many people have them where I live. Folks do seem to recoil slightly when seeing them for the first time. I am hooked on them now.

I usually get asked what's wrong with them or if they got picked on alot by others.... haha!

We butchered 2 necked necks this morning... one was hatched Jan 1st and dressed out at 4 pounds the other was hatched late last fall and dressed out at 3.6 pounds... I forgot to get a live weight... not too bad.

My two boys are 3 months old this weekend.
Started crowing and occasionally trying to mount the girls.
This guy went to his new home today.
He was adopted by a super nice family.
They have several Naked Neck pullets so he should be happy.

I’ve decided to keep this one for breeding.
I just love my Naked Necks!

They are adorable, I can't wait to start incubating them.. lol.. if I get lucky, might have a broody..

Hi All, stupid question for you, are NN's and Turken's two different things ? The world is forever taking one thing and then calling it something else although it's the same thing..lol. I have what I believe are NN's.

I don’t think it’s a stupid question at all.
I think with all the confusion regarding Americaunas and Easter Eggers (two separate breeds) it’s easy to get confused.
It’s two names for the same thing.
Naked Neck’s are Turkens.
Turkens are Naked Necks.

Thank you, I belong to a group on FB called the Mohave County Cluckers, one of the ladies were asking about NN's, but didn't want Turkens, lol, was thinking it was the same darned thing, kinda like Bipolar, it use to be called Manic Depressive.
