Here's a pic of his feet, he lost two toes today, yay. One was inflamed so I had to clean that after the pic. The ground isn't usually that bad, they decided to dump the water bowl earlier so now they got new shavings.

Plus, the two he lost were actually the worst ones he was tripping on. They had been curled under before dying so he couldn't just have his feet flat

Ouch, that has to be hurting him.

I'm sure it wasn't comfortable. I had been keeping most of the pen fluffed and padded. Hence why I'm so glad he lost two of those toes and not just the one I had been watching. Already he seems to be walking better

I have seen many pigeons like that. they live, mate and behave like the others. a flat roost is a solution for him.

my little pekin got broody. I gave her 5 eggs: 1 NN white hen/speckled sussex roo, 1 Nn black hen/ SS roo and 3 aloha looking egg laying hybrid/SS roo. so

That does look pretty painful. I hope once all the toes come off he will be more comfortable.
