Naked Neck/Turken Thread

My son's favorite chicken is the NN. We have a black and buff hen and hatched NN/Ameraucana chicks. He is in love with them and I promised him they are all his to name and love. He cuddles them everyday. We got two dark babies with little spots of blond and two that have Ameraucana markings. They are so great! I wonder if they will lay easter eggs?

Share some pictures when you get a chance. I let my bantam NN breed my biggest LF EE and got a little silly looking pullet from them. It's always fun to see what the babies look like.
You probably get some olive eggs.
How old is your little boy?

Your barreds are beautiful!!!!!

I'd love to have a fully naked neck bantam that has beautiful barring :)

I am so excited! My crazy chicken that I call SS (for spotted and striped) has hatched her babies and the NN parred roo is the daddy of at least 5!
Here is a pick of them yesterday...they had just come off the nest.
Out of the 11 chicks I have 2 browns, 1 black and 1 yellow with naked necks. Should be interesting watching them grow up!

I am also breeding my Wheaton NN that lays blue eggs to the Wheaten Ameraucana roo. I will be able to tell the chicks apart from the full wheatens by their NNs! (I hope) I would assume that I will get more NN blue egg layers out of this cross. They are going into the bator today!

Keeping my fingers crossed!
