Naked Neck/Turken Thread

My Serama size NN.  Until I post of picture of them beside the large fowl, it is difficult to appreciate how tiny they are.

One more view with better detail.

They had a pedicure today. I get tired of being scratched.
These are absolutely the cutest!! I'd have to make them house chickens. ...I could get into trouble with these! LOL!

My prayers are added to Cynthia's for your safe delivery from my namesake......

Here is my little naked neck Dark Cornish x Showgirl that just hatched out.

I just threw some Dark Cornish pullets in with my Showgirl roosters to see what I would get.
This is the only one out of three to be naked neck. Since it has light skin instead of dark, I guess it is a cockerel
since the dark skin gene is sex linked. I had one to hatch out just like this one but it has dark skin and was not
naked neck.

Had to get some..ahem..a lot of pictures of my white girl. First time in a long time..pretty sure it's a girl now. She hangs with another non NN..lol..that was in another hatch just after her that were also NN eggs. She is big. Guess they are big birds? Getting friendly. :)

This pictures is a bit blurry, but it shows her whole body..looks like a girl. :)

Nice feathering on the front

I was knelt down to take the pictures, and she jumped on a roost in the run to see
what I was doing.

There's her buddy, thinking it's a girl too

I love her cap :)

flower, mcrook..darling babies. Love the colors on both. Little bantam sized NN's! Look at those sweet faces! And, I love the color of that small baby, looks like a partridge! I love partridge coloring. How fun, to see the different ways to get a naked neck!

She's very pretty. I'm liking the white more every time I see one.

Knock, you rescue St. Bernards? That is so great. I used to rescue and foster dogs. I didn't go with any particular breed. I had so much fun learning about the different breeds I did have.
I love St. Bernards! I am loooving your Rosie. Do you still have her, or was she lucky and get placed..or is she yours?
