Of course you do! I've got my flock that are "family" & then with my quail there are "the boys" that get to take a trip to "Freezer Camp".

The first photo is Coopers (The Rooster I was talking about in the first post) mate named “Elizabeth” they had 4 children. The ones in the first picture are “Andrew” (the front black one) and Henry ( Back barred one). Sadly, they both died of a unknown cause a week later from this photo.

The Second Photo is Lydia and Liam (going left to right). Liam is the oldest by a day. They are both living happily and having a best life.

The Third Photo is my wonderful baby named “Alice”. She started this family and I’m proud of it. She was a year when she passed. She had 3 children. Cooper (oldest) Louis (middle) and the third baby died while hatching.

The Fourth Photo is Cooper and Elizabeth. They are living a wonderful life with clovers and green grass.

Wow! Look at all that green grass! And in the background is the Field of Dreams!

I'm pretty sure my birds are tired of the winter foliage here!

Oh, and those are B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L birds you've got there!!!

All your chickens are the same color. I’m not complaining at all. Those are cute birds but it’s funny because even if I add a bright yellow chicken in my flock. The children always come out blue. I can’t get the blue gene out.

That's because my only rooster was a black "Barred Rock Bantam". Black seems to be UBER dominant & recessive! I've got fresh young pullets just starting to lay, with my young variety roos. I want different colored babies out there running around. I've got some Easter Eggers & some sort of Production Reds eggs in the Incubator as well, that might change up the genetic dynamics a bit.

Now that my chickens have started making chickens of their own, I've began giving them last names too. I have the Poe sisters, Claudia & Ingrid, and their baby half- brother(same mom) Hilda Poe.

That's their cousin Belle looking on.
She is baby Hilda's half sibling on his father's side. It's a hillbilly soap opera here.
