That is all great to know! Two cockerels and 3 pullets would be perfect! I have more on order, 25 of them, so that will a lot of fun when they get here.
Are the terms cockerel and pullet used with bantams like they are with standard sized chickens? For some reason I thought I read somewhere that this is not the case. Can't remember. It was before I was interested in bantams.
I have one of the "boys" with two others and they are doing great. The other one that I know is male is in a cage by himself, but next to the last two. I may try combining those 3 and see how they do. Not sure that they will say in those groups, but it would sure be nice for now.
