Need advice on lockdown

So we are on day 21. Earlier today, I was checking them and now they are ALL 5 moving! And I can hear chirping from the eggs. Finally internally pipped:). Every time I talk or whistle to them, the eggs wiggle;). So quick question, I can’t remember from the last time I incubated eggs... is this considered “Late” for an internal pip? Day 21 started 5 hours ago at 10am (using set date as 0). Or should I expect to have to assist? Right now I’m leaving them, but thinking about putting an emergency hole in aircell if they haven’t broken the shell by tomorrow? CF60EED9-162E-4DFE-8872-56494C1F837F.jpeg

This was one of my shipments this year... they told me at the post office that my box was “leaking”.... and that I could borrow their mail tub to keep it in until I got home. 9A1E5F35-A1BA-4898-8C15-F1EF9CD73C4B.jpeg D2360B5E-A345-4649-A94B-126AE0A58C3A.jpeg F9B3FADC-62B4-4BA9-88FF-5390AB0009C5.jpeg 2FA01CB9-708D-4C5C-BCB6-B16A5E8C2007.jpeg 030ED6DD-CABF-4A0E-8F19-4B15A866CAC0.jpeg
Ps. Seller was awesome and sent me out new eggs at no extra charge.

And meet our new silkie/showgirl/possible sizzle babies!!! Actually got a video and both kids got to watch the first one hatch. They all hatched on day 22. I was so worried all day during day 21. A couple got stuck zipping with their weird air cells or malposition, so I had to assist. But everyone is doing amazing!!! Can’t believe all 5 hatched! So proud! And all 5 are a different color! Thank you BYC for all the amazing info. Especially about shipped eggs with damaged air cells. I read AS much as I could and was successful! So proud! 243AEB7D-67CE-4EC0-9645-C452491826A0.jpeg DAD65D2A-CA03-42E5-9BD3-AC1A8FD4A7DF.jpeg F863A7F0-8745-42A0-87F8-85B90986038E.jpeg BE776647-E105-4920-AC2E-E09A4F994765.jpeg 33302682-8C0F-4DBC-A798-C70346C25543.jpeg 7E61DCE5-7A07-485D-A412-DB76D69105CA.jpeg 177A7DA7-C3FF-4F6D-A02D-E30E0DBF48D0.jpeg 19B6DEB0-CAF0-47E2-AFDE-DF851E120018.jpeg F0EC0F02-41A2-49C7-B120-DA0E6DF9770A.jpeg 0588D90A-FC9E-4447-8A04-2FD62291BD14.jpeg 9F0E2DF0-A4F0-49F8-A653-12810003C4BA.jpeg 6DD6D78E-2EF1-4170-9B76-7791A783D909.jpeg 77B5B115-DCD6-49EC-8B22-26AA29FDCB18.jpeg

I don't know. I've never hatched eggs with that bad of air cells. Opal legbars though :drool :love
I'll tag @WVduckchick for you, maybe she can help. Good luck with your babies!
Heres my 4 that hatched out of 11 eggs, might be 3 roosters and a hen. But I'm just happy some made it! I've got 2 Ceam legbar I can use in breeding them back for feather improvements and have splits.

Personally I’d lay them down, but upright should work too.
Keep in mind that they may likely miss the air cell when they pip, so they could take longer to hatch, from initial pip to zip.

Will they drown if they miss the air cell? Is there any kind of extra problems I should encounter with the air cells on the side like that.

I cut this out for my eggs. In lockdown now. Was worried about straight up or laying down. I had some pretty messed up air cells as well. We are in the middle of day 19... getting super excited for these little silkies!.View attachment 2163806View attachment 2163807View attachment 2163809View attachment 2163810View attachment 2163811View attachment 2163806View attachment 2163807View attachment 2163809View attachment 2163810View attachment 2163811View attachment 2163820View attachment 2163821View attachment 2163822
Smart! Let me know how it goes!

Day 21 starts right now. 10:00 am. Still wasn’t seeing any action so I replaced the cut out circle with the regular flat one. I wanted to see if the eggs were actually moving, and let the kids see too. I’m pretty sure they were fine the way they were. Anyhow, 3 of the 5 are wiggling and have moving shadows in the air cells. The other 2 are definitely still alive, saw movement when candling. No chirping yet, so I don’t think they’ve internally pipped yet. Going to try and not touch them again. Hopefully these babies will hatch soon! I just got done telling them (the eggs), “You have made it this far in your little marathon, don’t quit now!” Lol. Hoping to be able to share some pics soon of my babies:)
