I just wanted to add my 2cents that some Turkens lay colored eggs, not just light brown. My hen lays a pink colored egg and I know some of the girls on here have blue and green layers.
Try getting in touch with AHappyChick- her hens have gorgeous colored eggs!
But not of the breeds I need.

My Black La Fleche are a little over 3 months old now and some of the hens are getting a little red in their face. I should be getting eggs from them in a couple of months. As soon as they start laying I will post a picture of their eggs.
